We’re Mike and Patti — hosts at Copes’ Islander since 1996. The day jobs are behind us, the kids are grown and gone, but we’re still here on the strait. Welcoming guests from around the world has been a pleasure we’ve never tired of.

WHERE WE ARE
A few minutes from the ferry, the winery, and the strait
Step off the deck and onto the beach. Watch the Powell River ferry come in. Dig clams at low tide; paddle a canoe at high. Salmon jump within feet of the shore. Evening sunsets are followed by starlit nights and a passing parade of cruise ships plying the waters of Georgia Strait on their way to Alaska.
